Walnutport PA Walnutport is a borough in Northampton County, Pennsylvania. It is located in the eastern part of the state, with the New Jersey border not too far away in the eastern direction. The borough is located about 70 miles north of Philadelphia, and 15 miles north of Allentown. According to the United States Census Bureau, as of 2000, Walnutport has a population of just over 2,000 people. The borough has a total area of 0.8 square miles of which, 0.8 square miles of it is land and 0.1 square miles of it is water. The borough of Walnutport has a hilly terrain, with an elevation of 814 feet above sea level. The racial makeup of Walnutport is 97.45% White, 0.39% African American, 0.34% Native American, 1.17% Asian, 0.39% from other races, and 0.24% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.52% of the population. Walnutport has over 800 households.
